1.  Owls lack eyeballs

Owls do not have eyeballs instead they have eye tubes or rod-shaped eyes that don’t move, unlike eyeballs. They move their head or bodies to look around.

The boiling and freezing point of any liquid depends on pressure. You can boil and freeze liquid at the same time by maintaining the required pressure.

 

3. Cheetahs cannot roar

 

Cheetahs belong to the “purring cat” subfamily. The bones of their voice box are such that they don’t allow them to roar.

 

4. Male frogs croak to attract their opposite sex

 

Male frogs croak or rib bit to find their mate but female frog occasionally croaks when startled or injured.

 

5. Female dragonflies pretend to be dead to avoid unwanted sexual advances

 

They drop out from the sky and then lay on their back motionless and fake to be dead to get rid of unwanted suitors. They fly back once the coast is clear.
