Is it necessary to have goal in life?

The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score. Life without aspirations is like a directionless ship in the vast ocean that reaches no destiny. Such a life is full of slapdash events. A student must set clear goals for his life. Working earnestly, and aspiring for a bright future is the best way to achieve something appreciable in life.

Students who don't realize the fruitfulness of being ambitious are hard hit when they are asked about their career plans. Some choose the subjects they are not good at. Should such a vital decision of life be taken within a deadline with a chaotic mind? Things would have been much easier if they did set early goal. What if a student says that he wishes to be a National player after passing out tenth? Wasn't he late to share? What was he doing since twelve years distanced from the ground?

School should have an interview round for promotion of students , so that the students inculcate habit of facing interviews and don't tremble in-front of interviewers in future. Asking their goal and aspiration related questions will surely help students to be clear, it would also let teachers and parents know about any non-scholastic interest that the child is enthusiastic for, so that he can be trained accordingly.It is always wise to set clear goals and give life a direction.
